IMPORT TEXT DATA

NoteDex features a powerful Text Data Import function.  You can also use it quickly add text outlines of cards. ​

 

This allows you to quickly generate cards from a list in Excel or other app.  Many apps today allow export of data as CSV (Comma Separated File), for example if you are using Readwise, Powernotes or some other similar app.  You may be using Excel to create a list of flashcards, or you may be wanting to import your notes from other apps.

To access the Data Import function just click the 'Grid' icon in the dropdown in the thumbnail view. Then you can import a CSV file or add data rows manually.  Once you have imported just click and your cards are imported!
